SUMMARY Y7 is searching for an entrepreneurial and results-driven Director of Digital Operations with 5+ years of experience to lead a digital business in our fast-paced and high growth environment. They will be responsible for all business strategy, operations and growth of Y7’s on-demand and streaming platform, Y7 Online. The candidate will report to Y7’s Chief Marketing Officer and work directly with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance and Operations as well as with Y7’s teaching support team. This is a highly visible position at the company with an opportunity to be in a high growth stage at Y7.
Spearhead the growth of Y7 Online.
Act as the business owner for Y7 Online - developing a business strategy for the platform, overseeing all business operations and growth plans with the goal of driving subscriber acquisition.
Direct and manage cross-team dynamics to achieve business objectives.
Work closely with Finance, Marketing, and the Teaching Support teams to enable the success and growth of Y7 Online, as well as to execute solutions in order to meet business goals.
Develop short and long-term strategy, vision and priorities for the team.
Responsible for business operations and decisions included but not limited to, video and live stream production, content strategy, product development, subscriber acquisition.
Define and measure KPIs to evaluate and understand product value and success.
Improve and own the efficacy of our digital operations, enabling the organization to hit our growth goals.
5+ years of experience leading digital business, with a proven success rate.
Prior consumer-facing product development experience, ideally with mobile or subscription-based products.
Strong technical background with understanding or direct experience in building and managing web and mobile technologies.
Knowledge and understanding of new client acquisition and general marketing tactics.
You are a solutions-oriented self-starter and problem solver with an aptitude for working in high-growth entrepreneurial environments.
You are adaptable and can prioritize shifts with growth.
Must have strong cross-functional collaboration and communications skills.
Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively simplify and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
