Seeking a detail-oriented, self-starter HR professional to join our People team. You’ll join a tight-knit  team with the opportunity to problem-solve and collaborate with all levels in the company. The person in this role will manage payroll, benefits & perks administration and be a resource for all things HR-related for our employees.

Job Duties

Payroll, Benefits & Perks

  • Oversee payroll processing for all staff
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration: ideating new benefits/perks, working directly with insurance carriers, and communicating benefits information to staff
  • Oversee compliance of labor laws in all states
  • Process, administer and effectively interpret implication of any leave of absence requests including disability, worker’s compensation claims and FMLA requests

Growth, Training and Development

  • Develop policies and procedures to support and accommodate a rapid growth organization
  • Develop and refine policies to address day-to-day employee activities such as non-disclosure agreements, technology usage, dress code, paid time off, etc
  • Create and develop leadership trainings for Studio Teams
  • Monitor staff relations activities including career development, staff coaching, staff advocacy, evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Develop and perform management reviews quarterly, or as needed
  • Be a trusted resource for all staff inquiries

New hires

  • Lead all search and hiring processes, including: recruitment of key personnel across the organization, crafting job descriptions, creating recruiting guidelines, new hire procedures, and onboarding processes to improve staff productivity and retention
  • Ensure successful onboarding of all new hires, from paperwork to facilitating orientations for all hired employees


  • Standardize and analyze payroll, new hire, termination and headcount reports
  • Handle all staff and client incident reporting for both internal issues as well as ones involving worker’s compensation and liability insurance carriers
  • Ensure policies and procedures are in place for staff safety, welfare, wellness and health
  • Create and maintain human resources records and files


  • 1-2 years related HR experience including benefits administration and/or recruiting
  • Degree from an accredited four year college
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, GSuite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle situations with discretion
  • Ability to work well independently, demonstrate initiative and exhibit sound judgment
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service and leadership skills
